Perfect description of communicating with Spirit. I also have done this many times over the years. I know pendulum work is similar when you are setting up understanding responses. But using a pendulum just does not feel right to me. It just seems to get in the way. I've done it so long directly, that is what works! Thank you!
Thank you so much, Melissa! This really resonates with me. I have a pendulum, but find that I mostly only use it for its crystal properties (I like to stick it under my pillow to clarify dreams). As far as asking yes/no questions (and maybe because I'm lazy) I never feel like using an outside tool. Let me know if you have a post about this, I'd love to read it!
Much of what I have on communicating with Spirit is part of past workshops and development classes I have given over the years. They are generally shared with my Inner Circle Community, but slowly I'm adding it to the main Journal. I'm sure there is an article, but I'll get back to you specifically. I really enjoy your articles.
I have used a pendulum for this purpose, though it can only be used when one is sitting still someplace and has the pendulum to hand (not, for example, while driving!). I connected immediately with the pendulum when I first tried it (just a few months ago), which rather surprised me as I tend to think I'm not very spiritually sensitive. But on the strength of that, I'm going to try your process to see what my "yes" and "no" are when I don't have the pendulum. Thanks!
And I'm interested in your beta class. Sounds like something that would be a next step for me.

I love that you brought up the pendulum! For me, stones are some of the best allies for communicating with spirit. But, just like you said, not always as convenient to use. If it feels good to share, I'd love to hear how the yes/no experiment went.
I love this method! I just tried it and it was so interesting. The yes came up from my but and bloomed in my chest. The no started in my throat and felt like a descending, almost sorrowful energy. I do intuitive check-ins often, but it was so cool to pay attention to them this way. Thank you so much for sharing--it was so simple and quick!
